Welcome to our new website. It is a work in progress; so please keep stopping by for updates. Over the next few months we will be adding to it. Hopefully it will become a place where members and those interested can find the information they need.
HISTORY
The Portadown Branch and Club of The Royal British Legion was formed in 1921 in Edward Street, Portadown.
After moving several times it became resident at 9-11 Thomas Street where it is currently located.
It has had to take up temporary premises on two occasions (1982 and 1993) when it was bombed.
Since then, however, we have gone on from strength to strength boasting a combined membership of slightly less than 500. One of the largest in the Province.
